Kristi Parker

Kristi ParkerMy name is Kristi Parker.  My family and I worship with the Mastin Lake Road congregation in Huntsville, AL. I was born in Huntsville, but I was raised in the Marshal Islands,  Panama (Central America), and then again in Huntsville, where I graduated from High School before attending Harding University.  I was married to my wonderful husband in 2001 and am now a stay-at-home & homeschooling mom to 4 children, 3 boys & a little girl (11, 10, 8, & 6).   My family is currently working hard to venture out to the Pacific Islands to reach lost souls and grow the church.  I started speaking to ladies in classes  and devotionals when I was in high school, and I have always and humbly enjoyed the privilege to do so.  I was blessed to be invited to speak to the ladies in Palau last year for their ladies’ day, and I am looking forward to doing it again.  I have also spoken to many teen and preteen girls in classes, devotionals and events.   I love studying God’s Word and forming a deeper understanding of what He wants for and from His people.  I am also passionate about sharing the knowledge and understanding that I gain from these studies.  I am currently working on a book about the bond God created for His whole church, not only the people within our own congregation.  I am really excited about it, but I only have a few minutes here and there to work on it, so who knows when it will be finished.  🙂

I love all of my sisters in Christ, even the ones I have not yet met, and I love personally getting to know more and more of the women that I will be spending eternity with.  There is very little that I love more than fellowship and studies with my sisters in Christ and sharing that passion with all of the ladies, young and old.

One of my favorite passages is Col 3:15-17. “15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”
