I went to Harding University and met my husband Kevin there. We lived in Knoxville, TN and worshiped with the South Knoxville Church of Christ for a few years before moving abroad to be missionaries under their oversight. After 8.5 years abroad we have worked at the Rock Springs church of Christ for the last couple of years. I teach bible classes for our ladies here. I blog at maidservantsofchrist.blogspot.com under the name “Helene” and I have a book being published by 21st Century Christian in January.
Broadway church of Christ
I was born and raised in southern Illinois and became a Christian in my teens. I’ve taught Bible classes of all ages ever since. My husband Edd has been a minister of the gospel for 28 years now and has served congregations in Flora and Harrisburg, IL, Jackson, MO, and Campbellsville, KY. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I have spoken at teachers workshops and ladies days in IL, MO, and KY.
Freeport Church of Christ
I am a lifelong student of the Bible, with a passion for writing and teaching. I taught my first children’s Sunday school class at the age of 16 and continued teaching regularly for over 20 years. When I was in my early 20’s, my mother invited me to speak at a ladies day at her congregation, awakening in me a desire to be involved in women’s ministry. I have taught several women’s classes in my home congregation, some with original material, and have spoken at ladies days and retreats in California, Washington and Illinois. I am currently working on publishing a book based on one of my classes. My husband Tom and I have four grown children and two granddaughters. I would love to speak at your ladies day!

Prestoncrest Church of Christ
I am excited to be writing my own bio- what a fun task! I am wife to Matt, and the blessed mother of three. Togther, our familiy are members at the Prestoncrest Church of Christ in Dallas. Over the years, I have had opportunity to serve amoung my church family in many capacities, from teaching and coordinating children and youth classes, to ministry teams, VBS, and adult class teaching. I have been involved with our WOW ministry, (Women of Worship) for several years, and have had opportunity to teach in that capacity as well. Those are all great discriptions of things that I do- I fill my time well. I am in that phase of life where between church, school, and other life duties, I find that time is my most precious commodity!
But, these descriptions tell you little, because what I am is not how I identify in this world, but who I am, the beloved daughter of the one true king, is where my blesssed assurance lies. I know you all feel the same, which is why I love speaking and teaching in a room full of women! I would to talk to you any time regarding your events and how I can help serve your needs.
