Dr. Butler is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist®, Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor-Advanced Certified (NCCA), Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor (NCCA), Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist (FACCT) and Certified Temperament Counselor. She provides Christian therapy, online and in-person, to adults with a primary focus on trust issues, anger and conflict management, confidence/esteem issues and temperament therapy. Dr. Butler specializes in grief recovery and offers Pet Loss Support, Grief Support and Helping Children with Loss recovery programs to individual clients and the community. Each program provides a safe place, a safe person and specific tools to help grievers recover from loss and to complete unresolved emotions. Using her gift of exhortation, Dr. Butler has created her own niche in therapy and walks alongside those seeking to live emotionally, physically and spiritually balanced lives to be all that God has called them to be. Cultivating spiritual growth through intentional discipleship is the mission of her ministry work as service provider for TemperedFit: Christian Services & Consulting, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Alison Hamm

Alison Hamm was born in Greenville, SC but has lived most of her live in Brandon, FL. She was married to her one and only boyfriend, Mike Hamm, in May, 1993, and together, they have two children who have just entered the wonderful world of adulthood. Alison homeschooled both children for their entire education. She is a licensed real estate agent and also works from home full time as an editor coordinator, managing a team of editors. On the side, she completes mystery shopping assignments as a way to allow her family to travel and enjoy meals out.

Alison has been an active member of the Bell Shoals congregation (soon to be Creekside Church of Christ) in Brandon, FL since she was 15 years old. She has taught all ages from cradle roll through adulthood. She served as the emcee for their annual ladies’ retreat for several years. Along with teaching ladies’ Bible class on an ongoing, regular basis, Alison has spoken at ladies’ days and teen girls’ events at various churches in Florida.

Alison enjoys writing fictional pieces as well as spiritual material. Her goal for writing and for speaking is always to uplift, encourage and entertain. She faces her life with humor, and she injects that same humor into the messages she gives.
