Mt. Juliet C of C in Mt. Juliet, TN
Perfect is not what I seek to be, but follower of Jesus is where my footsteps will be! I absolutely LOVE writing, speaking, mentoring, teaching, & creating thought provoking plays to cause others to think and consider their footsteps. The more I study, meditate, & write the more I grow spiritually. I love learning and seeking knowledge. As I speak to women & girls I take their hands leading each of them along a journey, reiterating the words of Jesus and sharing my own personal struggles.
My journey began with God, my book, and a bunch of women & girls wanting to grow! I have been blessed to speak throughout the United States for women & girls events. My first book “Traveling Toward Transformation” was published by 21st Century Christian in Nashville, TN I was recently featured in the July ’17 issue of Christian Chronicle & my book was featured in Christian Woman Magazine as a book to read.
I am also the Originator & Chair of the Tennessee Girls Symposium Series, which seeks to strengthen personal relationships between God & girls; while promoting spiritual growth. I love connecting and getting to know people! My utmost prayer, plan, & purpose is to create an environment of camaraderie, connectivity, and humility with my audience; while revealing the practicality of the Bible and guiding females toward its usage. Should women come to an event with their glasses half full, or their cups completely empty, with God’s help, I take responsibility in filling their cups to capacity. I look forward to being the speaker for your Ladies event! May God bless & keep you❤

Graymere Church of Christ
I have lived my whole life in middle Tennessee. My husband is Wendell Robinson who retired in 2015 as Minister of Education from the Graymere Church of Christ after 32 years with the same congregation. We have three children and seven wonderful grandchildren, all of whom attend Graymere so I see them a lot!
As a minister’s wife, my life has always revolved around the church. I teach the Sunday morning and Wednesday morning ladies classes. I teach the Bible at the local jail as part of our jail ministry and participate in the benevolent program, our annual Give-Away Day, care groups, and visitation. I have spoken at Ladies Days and retreats and taught ladies classes during a mission trip to Panama. In January 2015 Gospel Advocate published my first book, “Unsung Heroes (And a Few Villains)”, fulfilling a long-held desire to publish a book for ladies classes. “More Unsung Heroes (And a Few More Villains) was published in January, 2017.”
Most of my time is spent studying for the classes I teach and attending my grandchildren’s assorted ballgames and activities. One grandchild or another plays basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and bowling! Wendell and I love antiques, especially my collection of 300 antique open salts. Like most women, I love to eat out and to shop!

church of Christ at 904 Lawrence Ave
Sis. Alwanda Carothers is a member of the Church of Christ that meets at 904 Lawrence Ave, Nashville, TN. She and her husband William, who is a Deacon, have served there for over 15 years. She is the mother of 2 daughters, a grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is a bible teacher for women of all ages, spiritual public speaker and writer, foreign missions worker (along with her husband) in Guatemala, Central America and Guyana, South America.
Alwanda’s passion is to spur the body of Christ to become more fit for the Master’s use physically and spiritually. She is a Health Coach certified by Hallelujah Acres located in Shelby, NC. This certification focuses on the raw food lifestyle. This training enabled her to start a ministry entitled “Fit for the Master’s Use-Body, Mind, and Spirit”. This ministry is designed to help people all over the country understand the importance of eating to live and not living to eat. We must take care of our TEMPLES.
Alwanda has been on her journey and sharing the good news of health for 10+ years. She now wants to enhance her knowledge so she can help in an even better way. She is currently enrolled in the R.I.S.E.N. (Remedial and Integrated School of Evangelism & Naturopathy) program. She is taking the Fundamentals of Natural Hygiene which she will receive a Diploma. The course covers a broad spectrum on health including nutrition, disease, its causes, prevention and cure. This training series is the prerequisite to the Natural Hygiene Coach Certification, which if it’s the Lord’s will, she hopes to complete and receive certification by 2017 if not sooner.
Her mission is to go throughout the body of Christ coaching it back to health and healing.

I love to speak on topics that encourage and uplift godly women, especially women who feel overwhelmed and frustrated with all that comes with being a woman of God, mom, wife, friend, single woman, etc. I love to speak on the topics of simplicity, the spiritual disciplines and living out our real life as God’s women. I have a Bible study, titled Everything You Need published through 21st Century Christian. I also have a new book pending publication in Spring of 2017 called, Living Simplicity.
I love to speak for ladies days and women’s retreats, especially within the middle Tennessee area.
I am the daughter of ministering/missionary parents, have been married 15 years and have 3 boys that I homeschool. I love to speak and write to encourage women of God to be everything God desires us to be, and that we desire to be ourselves. It’s hard work – and I so love to assure my sisters that we are all in this together!
Thank you so much!

LaFollette church of Christ
I was born in Oneida, NY (2/23/50) to Violet and Norman Dart. They were some of the very few Christians living in New York State at that time, and our small congregation was the oldest in existence in that area. After graduating from high school I attended SUNY at Binghamton, then went on to graduate from David Lipscomb College. There I met my husband of almost 43 years, Jim Wesson and so began the journey! After Jim’s graduation he began preaching fulltime and we lived in several different places — including several years in the northeast which is somewhat of a mission area. Over the years we learned a lot, often by trial and error and making mistakes!
One of the great joys of our life has been our children; a son, Peter and daughter, Rebecca. We struggled with raising them to be first and foremost Christians, not “the preacher’s kids”! Both children are married — Peter preaches fulltime and Rebecca and her husband (and baby!) are missionaries in the Pacific. Over the years I have taught children of all ages, from babies to adult women. Many times I’ve found it necessary to develop my own material and create visual aids. ( I have a series for teen girls called “Going the Distance”, a study on the committed Christian life — available on request) This past year I was privileged to speak at a ladies day at Rockwood, TN on the theme “Counting Your Blessings” and “Making Your Blessings Count”. If this is a way I can encourage other ladies, I would welcome the opportunity !
